The location of the garden at the bottom of a steep sided valley near the North
Cornish coast means it is unlikely to be a prime location for migratory moths.
However, recording on the surrounding hill-tops and cliffs, during
times of migratory activity, should prove more productive. Go to the Migrants
slideshow to view all the images.

Notes:
1 - No previous records in the valley, suggesting this was a migrant influx.
2 - The records for the Four-spotted Footman continue to suggest a
resident population.
3 - No previous records in the valley, suggesting these are either migrants
or wanderers.
4 - Likely to be migrants.
