1 Jan	The Herald 2469 Scoliopteryx libatrix	Status: National - common Marsland - common	A smaller count of hibernating Heralds this year but a reliable 'first moth' for the new year.
21 Jan	Dotted Border 1934 Agriopis marginaria	Status: National - common Marsland - common	Earliest site record.  Previous earliest record was 8 February in 2008.
